"An Optical Illusion"
Letting go takes more
strength than holding on.
We struggle to cling
onto that which destroys.
A right to control,
a needy and manipulative soul.
The illusion of order
captures our imaginations,
casting spells
of competence and strength.
So much energy,
illusive synergy,
unreliable senses,
distorted dimensions,
yet, we cling.
We believe all goes according
to well orchestrated plans,
formalized demands,
outlandish commands.
This is the way.
I know best we say.
Limited vision,
directionless destinies.
Yet, we pursue.
What is the end?
Is there an end?
Yes, perhaps
to our strength.
Broken, battered,
torn and dismantled
is our strength.
I see a beginning,
of something.
It's new,
it's comforting,
invisible...
intangible...
yet, so real.
SURRENDER....
